Dental care providers on the move

Dr. Melissa Beadnell, Simply Smiles Dental, is now seeing patients in her new offices on Capitol Hwy. Following significant renovations of the space that had been an outpost of Key Bank for decades, Dr. Beadnell's new offices are four times larger than her previous space. Along with all that square footage she has added 6 additional patient treatment rooms and two additional staff members as well as upgraded digital diagnostic equipment.

The offices of Southwest Portland Dental and Dr. Tiffany Goldwyn will expand into the space vacated by Simply Smiles.

Following several months of construction, Hillsdale Orthodontics is up and running in its new location in the former RE/MAX building at the corner of Sunset and Capitol Hwy. Dr. Alix Leemin and Dr. Kimberly Handick previously saw patients at their former location across from the Hillsdale library. Their new offices sit on the Cheltenham side of the former RE/MAX building and occupies approximately one-third of the space. They are in search of a tenant for the remaining two-thirds of the building, approximately 6500 sq. ft. Prospective tenants include medical and dental practitioners, but at this point the property remains available for lease.

Gifford Family Dentistry will be expanding to fill the spot left by Hillsdale Orthodontics in January 2025 with a new SW Sleep and Wellness Center. Dental sleep clinicians will provide treatment for snoring, sleep apnea and temporomandibular joint disorders.

More moves and expansions

State Farm Hillsdale has moved from the north side of Capitol Hwy across the street to the south side. Jacquline Fitzgibbon and her staff are ready for business in their new digs, which formerly housed Portland Camera Service.

Back on the north side of Capitol Hwy, Hillsdale Veterinary Hospital will expand to fill the building it occupies, much of which has been vacant for the past few years.
